Secret Squirrel Clothing is, simply put, beautiful. their Winter 2010 line, called The White Album, is full of ruffles and sequins atop dark, conservative colors. the black and grays are quite lovely and basic, but it's the little details that make the collection as beautiful as it is. without the textures that sequins and ruffles have to offer, the line would be bland. it wouldn't be unwearable (as the silhouettes are wonderful), but it would definitely be too bland for my taste. i don't have to worry about that though, as i'm completely drawn in my this collection. it somehow manages to be both simple and eye catching at the same time. and how sweet is that blue dress? i can totally imagine having oodles of fun in that little number!

- hi! i'm Lena, but you can call me Lulu. i love Frida Kahlo, feminism, art, reading, kitties, and drinking tea. i love the film Amelie and i think that the tiny traveling gnome has stolen my heart. i want to own a bookshop and live above it one day. i get quite passionate about things. i tend to think too much. i'm kind of a hermit.
