coco before chanel

i just watched Coco Before Chanel and it was stunningly breathtaking! the story was wonderful and the costumes were flawless. i couldn't take my eyes off of her, everything she wore was sophisticated and daring. i highly recommend this movie. the cinematography is beautiful, and Audrey Tautou secures her role as one of my favorite actresses of all time (as many of you know i first fell in love with her acting and darling smile in Amelie and have been following her film career since). the last scene, where models come out wearing her designs, was very satisfying. but honestly, i think that my favorite outfits of hers were the ones she wore in the movie before she became well known. i love movies that make you look at celebrities in a new light. this was definitely one of those movies.

hi! i'm Lena, but you can call me Lulu. i love Frida Kahlo, feminism, art, reading, kitties, and drinking tea. i love the film Amelie and i think that the tiny traveling gnome has stolen my heart. i want to own a bookshop and live above it one day. i get quite passionate about things. i tend to think too much. i'm kind of a hermit.
