etsy: star house

Star House is one of those Etsy stores that appeals to your inner child. adults and kids alike will enjoy the fun colors and simple shapes of these playful toys. the toys start off as sustainable blocks of wood and are then sawed, sanded, wood burned, sanded again, and painted with non-toxic watercolors. the pieces are finished off with bees wax and jojoba oil (both of which are very good for your skin, so i imagine the toys are delightful to play with). these adorable toys (some of which are referred to as "folk") would be the perfect gift for your little one, your friends little one, or even for yourself. i can easily picture a shelf full of Star House's wooden goodies in my room. each piece is more wonderful than the next. and really, how completely adorable are they?
