1. i am truly, madly, deeeeeeeply in love with this tote. (first seen on Everything)

2. this feather dress is super eclectic and funky. i actually enjoy its tunic-like quality.

3. journals journals journals. i am an obsessive list maker, and traveling is one of my favorite things to do. it's the perfect combination!

4. one cannot ever have too many flowers or too many vases to put them in.

5. donuts + a mug = a very happy Lulu. coffee and donuts, anyone?

i'm sure most of you have heard of Poketo's recent collaboration with Target. i checked the stuff from the collaboration out and there were some really awesome bags, but i didn't particularly love everything else. however, browsing through Poketo's website yielded some absolutely great results. above are a few little gems i found and am now definitely drooling over. big time.

charlotte mann

oh my goodness, speaking of home decor, i want Charlotte Mann to come and decorate my plain white walls with her sharpie. yes. sharpie. Ms. Mann is a British artist who uses black markers and a white background to create stunning rooms within rooms. she even did the backdrop for the Peter Jensen Autumn/Winter 2010 fashion show at New York fashion week. her work leaves me in awe. doesn't it look almost dollhouse-ish? i adore it!

so, since i officially live in an attic (a mighty fine one, i must add) and the walls are super short and annoying (but oh so beautiful) all i've been thinking about are various ways of storing things and decorating rooms. Anthropologie is one of my favorite sources of inspiration when it comes to home decor (as is evidence in this here post. by the way, my bestie Lou totally bought me that mug. i know, she's the greatest.) so i've compiled a little wishlist of things i greatly wish were in my room.

ps- half these things wouldn't even fit into my room! oh well. i guess that makes not being able to afford them less depressing, right?

pps- remember this post? Lou also bought me the Sweet Dreams banner for my new room. i plan on putting it right above my window seat. perfect for those midday naps i love so much. ♥

recipe tea towels

wouldn't these lovely recipe tea towels from MOZI make the quaintest kitchen decorations? they're way too beautiful to be used in the traditional sense, but i can just see them looking wonderful hung on the wall with some clothespins and a ribbon. also, i'm itching to try out that orange & poppy seed cake recipe! it looks absolutely delicious!

these Banter Banners are so amazing (and they kind of speak for themselves so i'll keep my rambling short)! i want this one above my bed. it would be like a...festive dream catcher of sorts.

i love the wallpaper and wall decals that Studio Nommo has. it's so much fun imagining myself in a room surrounded by all these wonderful images and designs! and you can even create and customize your own wallpaper!

it's teatime on my laptop

i just got these adorable reusable fabric stickers in the mail from mini mae on Etsy. i was hesitant to purchase anything for my laptop (brand spanking new laptop, mind you) that was applied via anything sticky. but after having asked about a million and one questions i felt reassured enough to go ahead and buy them. the only downside is that they tend to attract hair around the edges. then again, i live with three cats and they refuse to leave my room. anyway, the stickers are very easy to move around and i couldn't be more delighted at the fact that they have a tea party theme! tea! and cupcakes! it was meant to be. =] also, the brand is based in Australia and it took less than two weeks for my stickers to get here (Portland, OR). super fast shipping! next up i want to try mini mae's mother shop, which is home to the same type of fabric stickers, only on a much larger scale (for walls and such). i'm already in love with the babushka dolls and the twitter birds!
